Storage hooks
If you want to make the most of your workshop, you need to organise your workspace. To stop your tools getting muddled or taking up too much space, you'll need storage systems such as workshop units, trolleys and tool boards. But if you're looking to keep things off the ground, go for storage hooks. These hooks can be used to hang things like rakes, brooms, shovels and any other garden tools. You can even use them to mount heavier items such as ladders, stepladders and wheelbarrows. These handy hooks are usually sold in packs of 10, 20, 30 or more! Designed to be secured to the wall via wall plugs or to a tool rack, storage hooks are suitable for a range of applications. In terms of design, storage hooks differ in terms of:
Design: multipurpose, double grip, S-shaped, twisted S, etc.
Material: plastic, rubber-sleeved, stainless steel, galvanised steel, etc.
Size: length, hook size.

Bike racks
Bikes take up a lot of room in the garage or shed and may hang around unused for most of the year. Storing them appropriately can therefore free up a lot of floor space.
Floor-mounted racks
A practical and space-saving storage solution, bike racks are designed to hold the front wheel of a bike between two steel hoops. Depending on the model, bike racks can hold anything from one to six bikes. Easy to install using wall plugs and screws, a bike rack can be set up on the ground or secured to a wall.
Wall-mounted racks and bike hoists
If you don't have the floor space, go for ceiling and/or wall racks. A hanging bike rack is usually made up of a couple of brackets and rubber hooks to store your bikes as efficiently as possible. If you have a lot of head room, go for a bike hoist with a pulley system.

Pegboards
A pegboard can help to optimise your tool storage and keep your workspace feeling organised and clutter-free. Easy to install, pegboards are a great way to hang up your most reached-for tools like spanners, pliers, screwdrivers, hammers and hacksaws. Made using strong and hard-wearing materials, pegboards feature a series of hooks each designed to hold a different hand tool.
Features of a pegboard
Looking to invest in a pegboard? There are a few criteria to consider:
size: must match the space you have available in the workshop;
material: usually steel or masonite;
shape and colour to match the design of your workbench.

Magnetic tool racks
When looking for a storage hook for the workshop or garage, you might also come across magnetic tool racks. These racks boast a number of benefits:
they are easy to install thanks to a relatively simple fixing system;
they provide the ideal surface for hanging any tools with metal parts such as screwdrivers, rulers, spatulas, and so on.
they can also be used in other rooms of the house such as the kitchen.
There is a wide range of magnetic tool racks on the market, each of which varies in terms of:
size: though they typically measure 30 to 60 cm in length;
shape: rectangular and flat or even tubular;
material: usually steel or aluminium, both of which are rust-resistant.

Tool racks
Not found the storage solution for you? You might want to invest in an ordinary tool rack. These accessories are equipped with several hooks which can vary in size. These racks are used to hold tools like hoses, garden tools or extension cords. A tool rack can easily be secured to the wall using the right screws. These storage racks vary in terms of the size and the maximum load they are designed to withstand.
