EDMA
EDMA is a French tool manufacturer. The company was founded in 1937 by Pierre GRÉHAL. The entrepreneur quickly invented a new type of nibbling shears that would make the company famous. In 1993, EDMA was awarded the "Clef d'argent de l'exportation" by the tooling industry association, and in 1994 it received the "Mercure de l'exportation" from the Yvelines - Val d'Oise Chamber of Commerce, a recognition of decades of effort in the pursuit of quality. In 1997, the company won the I.N.P.I. Trophy for regional innovation in the Ile de France region, followed by the Innovation Trophy at the QUOJEM trade show for its unique ULTRA FIX rack-and-pinion fastener; in 2007, it won a second trophy from the INPI. EDMA's reputation is well established. In 2002, EDMA also launched ecological packaging for its tools.
