The abrasive disc is an essential element for your orbital or eccentric sander. It is the grains on the sandpaper that allow the removal of surfaces on workpieces. Discover our wide range of quality offers. We provide discs with a grit ranging from 24 to 1000. Moreover, you will find all the standard sizes of discs (125 mm, 150 mm...).
When choosing your sandpaper disc, there are a few criteria to consider.
First, make sure the disc diameter matches that of your handheld sander's plate. The common sizes of discs are 90, 115, 150, and 225 mm. The hook-and-loop models are very convenient as they attach by themselves!
Next, select the grit of the abrasive disc. The closer the grit is to 0, the more suited it is for coarse sanding. Conversely, for finishes, we recommend opting for a disc with a grit of at least 150.
Last point: prefer perforated discs when you have a sander equipped with a suction system. Indeed, the holes allow particles to pass through, keeping your workspace clean and visible.
