Although an expensive garden set in comparison to others on the market. I’m glad I paid the extra. It is beautiful and excellent quality. However the delivery company was a let down. You are advised when placing your order that delivery can be between two dates. On the morning of the earlier date I receive a text to say it’s being delivered that day between 8am and 6pm. I work full time so this was very impractical at such short notice. After several attempts to contact the delivery company (they don’t answer the phone and were only responding via email), they wouldn’t change the delivery date and said they would leave it outside the house. I don’t know about anyone else but I wasn’t prepared to leave a brand new £2200 purchase at the front of my house all day! So instead I had to leave work and race home to take my delivery (thankfully I have an understanding boss). Upon opening the set I realised the lazy Susan hadn’t been delivered. Again, sorting for a replacement was plain sailing but taking delivery, yet again, was a headache. I had no idea when to expect delivery and again I received no warning until the morning with an 8am to 6pm window which resulted in a couple of missed attempts (because I would just receive the same standard text on the morning). We have a Ring doorbell that the driver didn’t even bother to ring to enable us to talk to him and ask him to leave in a secure place. This included a day I was working at home - we only knew he’d attempted to deliver because he put a card through the letterbox! When I rang the company they said he must have not seen the doorbell (funny that anyone else who comes to our door easily find it - as its right next to the door)! They said delivery would have to be arranged for another day because the driver was no longer in the area, but they couldn’t narrow down the 10 hour window. On top of this, one of the days they informed us they were coming, they didn’t bother showing up at all - could you imagine if I had taken the day off that day?! Absolutely no apology or flexibility from the delivery company - all very one way. Despite him telling me the driver was no longer in the area, he miraculously turned up an hour later. You should seriously consider changing your delivery partners if this is the sort of service they provide on your behalf!!
