Eyebolts: make the right choice
A lifting ring or lifting lug is a mechanical lifting device used to connect a weight to a hook or shackle. The lifting ring is round in shape or similar to a D. Generally, this type of ring is made of galvanized steel or a very resistant metal capable of ensuring true solidity. Meanwhile, rotating lifting rings stand out for their practical aspect which grants them great ease of use. The double-articulation lifting rings also offer numerous advantages. They are suitable for lifts with rotations to align perfectly with the sling. Lifting rings are offered in different sizes, according to the importance of the load to be lifted: less than 100 kg, 200 kg, 300 kg, etc. Thus, one may find lifting rings with an internal diameter of 25 mm, 50 mm, etc.
