Description
This gas spring (also called a pneumatic cylinder or gas damper) is designed to replace or equip height-adjustable chairs. It operates using high-pressure gas contained in a sealed cylinder, generating a constant and controlled lifting force. Its integrated mechanism ensures smooth regulation of the raising and lowering speed, preventing sudden jerks or jams. The tapered connector at the top facilitates installation on most standard threaded rods used in France (M12/M14 compatible). Made of coated steel, it measures 72 cm in its fully extended position, with a lower cylinder diameter of 4.3 cm and an upper cylinder diameter of 5 cm, and a piston diameter of 2.8 cm. Its approved load capacity is 120 kg, complying with European safety standards EN 1335 for adjustable chairs. Supplied individually, it can be inserted directly into existing structures without any special tools.
