Description
This tailgate release switch (part number 6554V5) is a technical replacement part designed to restore optimal functionality to the trunk control system on a wide range of French vehicles. It directly replaces the original microswitch located on the handle or the rear locking mechanism. Made of reinforced ABS, it combines lightness, impact resistance, and dimensional stability in temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. Its design strictly adheres to the dimensions and electrical characteristics (nominal voltage 12V DC, maximum current 0.5A) of the original equipment. Compatible with the Peugeot 206, 207, 307, 308, 407, and 5008, as well as the Citroën C3 (petrol and diesel models up to 2015), it integrates without modification. Please note: measurements are taken manually; a margin of error of ±2 cm is possible depending on lighting and display conditions. The actual color may vary slightly depending on the screen used.
