This wireless security alarm kit includes one central receiver and two weatherproof (IP44 rated) PIR motion detectors, specifically designed for monitoring outdoor areas such as yards, driveways, garages, barns, or garden sheds. PIR technology detects temperature changes caused by the passage of a warm body (average human or animal), with a precise detection range of 5 to 8 meters and a 45° angle. In open outdoor conditions, the wireless connection between the sensor and receiver reaches up to 300 meters. The receiver offers three volume levels (up to 100 dB at 5 meters) and three alert modes that can be combined with visual signals (steady LED, flashing LED, or LED synchronized to sound), ensuring clear notification in various home environments. Power is supplied by standard batteries (C for the receiver, AAA for the sensors), with the option of using a 6V DC power adapter for the receiver—eliminating the need to combine batteries and mains power. The installation requires a shaded and stable location for the sensors, sheltered from wind, direct sunlight, and metallic interference, in accordance with best practices for reliable detection. The system is scalable: up to five sensors or five receivers can be paired, facilitating the gradual expansion of your monitoring system.
