Product information
Description
Features: 1. This induction heating section uses a 12-48V low-voltage DC power supply. 2. Maximum current 20A, maximum power 1000W. 3. 53V power supply tested for proper operation. 4. Due to its moderate power, it can be used for small parts; DIY enthusiasts can perform hardening, annealing, and other heat treatments. 5. It can also be used with a graphite crucible to melt gold, silver, copper, aluminum, and other metals, providing fast, even heating and making it very convenient. Specifications: Features: This induction heating section uses a 12-48V low-voltage DC power supply. Maximum current 20A, maximum power 1000W. 53V power supply tested for proper operation. Due to its moderate power, it can be used for small parts; DIY enthusiasts can perform hardening, annealing, and other heat treatments. Can also be used with a graphite crucible to melt gold, silver, copper, aluminum, and other metals. Provides fast, even heating and is very convenient. Specifications: Coil inner diameter: 40 mm; Coil height: 50 mm; Input: 24V with 3A no-load current; Input: 48V with 6A no-load current. The higher the voltage, the higher the heating current, resulting in a better heating effect. However, the heat generated is also significant. Therefore, to determine the appropriate input voltage, generally use 24V or 36V. A 36V power supply is sufficient. It is suitable for a 12-36V power supply (not included). The coil accepts a 40 mm crucible. Note: 1. The kit contains a complete set of control circuit components and brass. 2. Buyers must provide their own power supply and cooling unit. 3. The printed circuit board uses a double-sided fiberglass board. Copper traces are used primarily to expand the use of the entire back surface of the common resonant circuit. For continuous operation, please add a fan to blow air from above to cool the resonant capacitors and other components. 4. This uses a switching power supply. Please note that due to the high power, the startup function is generally slow, especially after the machine is switched on. The output voltage increases slowly. If the voltage rises to 12V before the induction heating circuit is powered on, insufficient starting voltage will prevent vibration, which can cause two MOSFETs to conduct simultaneously, potentially burning out components. Therefore, the first MOSFET will switch the supply voltage up to 12V before the induction heating circuit is activated. 5. The volume of the object being heated inside the heating coil cannot exceed 1/5 of the volume (if it's a heating cylinder, then the heating coil diameter should be less than 1/3 of the diameter), or it may be due to an overload or a faulty power supply. Although this circuit can tolerate an input current of 20 to 30 A, do not exceed 15 A when operating safely. You can easily add an ammeter between the power supply and the heating control board, but always monitor for current overload. This circuit can not only perform induction heating, but the copper tube in the high-frequency transformer also acts as a powerful inverter. 1. To increase the heat sink, a custom substrate as thick as 8.5 mm was used! The cooling capacity is very powerful. 2. By using M4 standoffs, the heat is reduced and more efficient.Package includes: 1 x ZVS low-voltage induction heating panel, 1 x brass fitting. Advice from
How to save money on your heating
Heating your home represents a huge chunk of your overall energy bill so if you're looking to save money, this is a good place to start. Lowering or programming your thermostat and properly insulating your home can help, and grants are available if you find yourself having to replace a radiator or boiler.
