An electronic ballast is a device that powers various types of equipment: it allows you to directly connect 12V equipment, such as LED strips or cameras, to a standard household current (220V).
In addition to providing power, the electronic ballast with a dimmer also allows you to adjust the brightness of the connected lamps: you can regulate the amount of current supplied to the lamp, thus reducing its energy consumption.
Much more efficient than electromagnetic ballasts, electronic ballasts absorb fluctuations in mains voltage, protecting the connected devices and extending their lifespan.
For proper operation, it is essential to carefully follow the wiring instructions and the power limits of the connected devices. For optimal performance, we recommend using approximately 80% of the rated power. Connection: Connecting the devices is very simple. Connect the 220V power wires to L/N, the third output is ground (neutral), V+ and V- are the 12V outputs, and finally, there is the dimmer switch to adjust the light level.
