Installation

The germicidal lamp must be installed in the filter reservoir and should not be immersed directly in the aquarium. Be sure to connect the lamp to a water pump to circulate the water through the sterilizer.

Usage

For optimal use, it is recommended to use the lamp 3 to 4 times per week, turning it on for approximately 2 hours each time. In case of heavy algae growth or sick fish, you can use it daily for 1 to 2 hours, without exceeding 2 hours of continuous use. The lamp should only be used when water is flowing through it, driven by the pump.
