It acts as a barrier against damage from the ground, such as rocky substrates, burrowing animals, and root growth from trees and shrubs. For enhanced safety, it is recommended to use the fleece both beneath and above the pond liner to prevent potential damage caused by swimming activities or high water pressure on sharp stones.
