Description
The 125 mm sanding pad serves as an intermediary between the sandpaper and the sanding disc.
The foam interface absorbs vibrations from the sander, reducing fatigue and minimizing the machine's impact on the surface to prevent accidental deep abrasion.
Sponge pads reduce localized abrasion of the sandpaper, especially premature wear in the edge area.
When sanding curved wood surfaces, automotive filler, lacquer, etc., rigid sanding discs can cause overcuts or uneven surfaces.
The sponge interface pad allows for better conformity to complex shapes.
