Installation Instructions
Please Note Before Installation
- Root resistance cannot be guaranteed if the coating is damaged or creased before or during installation.
- Use as few joints as possible to ensure optimum root protection.
Installing the Root Barrier
- Excavate a trench or hole of the appropriate width.
- Install the root barrier vertically.
- The smooth side must face the roots.
- Professionally seal butt joints and connection points with ButylTape.
- Backfill the trench or hole with soil and compact it thoroughly.
Joining with ButylTape
- The material must be clean and dry.
- Ensure that the barrier is properly folded where the tape is to be applied.
- Press the ends firmly together to ensure a long-lasting connection.
