Description

Correct Test Procedure:

Take a test strip and immediately close the bottle to prevent moisture.

Completely immerse all reactive areas of the strip in the water to be tested for 1 second.

Remove the strip horizontally and shake gently to remove excess water (do not shake vertically).

Immediately after wetting (usually within 10 to 15 seconds), carefully compare the color of each reactive area of the strip with the color scale on the bottle.

Interpreting Results and Actions:

Carefully compare the color of each parameter, find the closest color range, and read the corresponding value.

Depending on the result, consult the maintenance instructions for your water feature (e.g., for swimming pools) to determine if adding chlorine/bromine tablets, pH regulators, alkalinity boosters, etc. are required. Reference range for the main parameters (swimming pool) Pool water: Free residual chlorine: 1 to 3 ppm, pH: 7.2–7.6, Total alkalinity: 80–120 ppm. Storage and precautions: After use, close the cap tightly and store in a cool, dry place away from light. Do not touch the test area to avoid contamination. Check the expiration date of the test strips; expired strips may give inaccurate results.
