Product information

Description

• Material: High-quality PP plastic rooting balls; sturdy propagation shells strong enough to be reused for years. We have three different sizes (S, M, L) to accommodate roots of varying sizes. • Security Lock: The plant rooting ball features four interlocking lids and corner locks. This plant rooting tray ensures that branches hold the propagator in place. You can use plastic straps to secure the shell. • Easy to Use: Peel back a strip of bark approximately 2 to 2.5 cm wide where roots are needed. Place moist moss or garden soil over the root zone where the plant will grow. Wrap the moss- or garden soil-filled root zone around the peeling bark. Generally, propagation results are visible within 6 to 8 weeks of installation. • No damage: The plant propagation air layer pods are safe for the mother plant and will not cause any damage, as only a small branch of the mother plant is used for rooting. This branch grows with the mother plant, so it will not break after rooting, which would be harmful to the mother plant. Higher success rate compared to other plant propagation techniques. • Wide application: The plant rooting tray uses an air layering method to grow roots directly onto branches, thus propagating more mature plants faster than ordinary propagation methods. Use on indoor and outdoor trees such as roses, fruit trees, and trees that are difficult to root, like magnolias and camellias.

What to do in the garden in February

February is a chilly month meaning there's not a huge amount you can do in the garden. That said, the days are getting longer and nature is coming out of hibernation little by little. If the weather allows it, you may even be able to cautiously start sowing a few seeds under cold frames towards the end of the month.
