What exactly is an aviary fence?
Aviary wire usually consists of close-meshed hot-dip galvanised steel wires. During production, the wire is firmly welded at the points of contact, which is why the wire is a so-called "spot-welded mesh". The zinc oxidises relatively easily, so every scratch on the surface ensures the formation of another zinc oxide layer long before moisture even comes close to the steel core. This process makes our aviary wire particularly resistant to weathering.
