Remove the rear end of the glow plug using a star wrench with a 3/8" (E10) socket, remove the insulating plastic, and remove the damaged head using pliers (not supplied). 2. Mark the drilling depth, use a step drill bit and a pilot drill bit, and keep the drill bit straight. 3. Clean any glow plug residue from the cylinder threads. 4. Repair the cylinder threads with a tap. 5. Use the glow plug removal screw and extractor to remove the glow plug. 6. Install a new glow plug and the installation is complete. Note: 1. When drilling, do not drill past the marked thread and keep the drilled hole straight.
