With this spit weight set, you have the perfect accessory for your barbecue skewer. Whether it's a rotisserie roast or a chicken, there are times when your barbecue isn't skewered perfectly in the center, resulting in an imbalance. This causes the skewer on your electric barbecue to rotate unevenly, leading to uneven grilling. With this balancing weight for barbecue skewers, you can counteract this and ensure the rotating skewer turns smoothly.

How does it work?

Place your barbecue food (as evenly as possible) on the skewer and slide the counterweight onto the skewer (don't screw it on tightly yet!). It doesn't matter whether the counterweight rotates inside or outside the cooking chamber.

Now place the spitting rod with the barbecue food (roast, chicken, etc.) onto your spitting device (e.g., the notch in the side walls of the gas barbecue). In case of imbalance, you will notice that the side with the greater imbalance will tilt downwards.

Place the balancing weight vertically upwards (opposite the imbalance).

Secure the correction weight by rotating the L-bar.

Slide the weight, depending on the degree of imbalance, along the L-bar and secure it so that the imbalance in the food is compensated by the counterweight.
