Product Description
FilterBalls are lightweight, highly efficient filter media designed to replace sand in residential pools and industrial or commercial filtration systems. Say goodbye to mess and spills: a single one-cubic-foot bag of FilterBalls replaces and outperforms 45 kg of sand. Most home filters require less than 2.2 kg of FilterBalls!
Much lighter than the sand you're using.
Saves you significant money on your electricity bill.
What are FilterBalls and why are they better than other filter media? Made from 100% polyethylene, they represent a major advancement in pool filtration. In retrospect, FilterBalls are much easier to handle than large bags of sand. They were certainly millions of times easier to remove from your pool filter than that old, slimy sand you'd spent over an hour digging. It can also capture smaller particles than conventional filter sand.
100% polyethylene
Much easier to handle
The filter pump is significantly quieter
It can capture smaller particles than conventional filter sand
Very easy to handle. The filter balls are easy to handle, 100 times lighter than sand filter media, and improve circulation and filtration, with lower filtration pressure and a higher flow rate. Eliminates the need to discard and dispose of hundreds of kilograms of sand.
How it works: The high number of biological groups is associated with its high specific surface area. Microsuspensions, which do not easily precipitate, can be treated by direct capture and electrochemical adsorption onto oil and other contaminants. Recyclable: The filter balls are recyclable and can extend the lifespan of your other equipment (reduced operation), thus saving energy. They provide more thorough backwashing for longer filtration cycles and lower system pressure than sand.
