Installation
To replace the starter in a pellet stove, follow these steps:
Unplug the stove. Remove the rear service panel. Remove the trough motor and the trough mounting plate. For some models, the starter can be accessed from the left side by removing the room fan.
Locate the starter under the hopper; it will have white braided wires. Disconnect the wires from the old starter and remove it. Use a 5/8" wrench to loosen the starter fitting by turning it counterclockwise. Check the fuse (red wire with a black cap); replace it if it is blown. Reinstall all components in reverse order. Application: This starter is used to ignite fuel in pellet stoves, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
