Installation

To replace the starter in a pellet stove, follow these steps:

• Unplug the stove.
• Remove the rear service panel.
• Remove the trough motor and trough mounting plate.
• For some models, the starter may be accessible from the left side by removing the blower from the room.
• Locate the starter under the hopper; it will have white braided wires.
• Disconnect the wires from the old starter and remove it.
• Use a 5/8" wrench to loosen the starter fitting by turning it counterclockwise.
• Check the fuse (red wire with a black cap); Replace it if it is burnt out.
• Reinstall all the parts in reverse order.
