This fleece is a professional quality reversible weed fleece . This material really does meet all the requirements for a good weed control fabric. This weed control fabric is made of 2 different materials. A Polyester fleece (PES) onto a Polypropylene fleece (PP) this has the great advantage that the garden fleece can be used both on slopes ( ) and on flat surfaces. When laying the fleece on a slope, take the roughened polyester (PES) side up. This means that the bark mulch sticks to the rough surface and is not washed away by heavy rainfall. On the flat surface, place the smooth polypropylene (PP) side up. This side of the fleece prevents weeds and unwanted plants from attaching themselves. This combination fleece is UV stable and therefore does not need to be covered.
Simple application
Before laying, the weeds should be thoroughly removed from the relevant area . You can then cut the weed control fabric precisely to the desired size using a pair of commercially available scissors and place it in the desired position. For existing plants, cut a cross-shaped opening in the fleece at the planting points and pull the plants through the opening. You can then cover the fleece with bark mulch, wood shavings or gravel as you wish . Tip: Use our ground anchors to fix in place particularly securely.
