Product information

Description

Winter is coming and you don't know how to protect your plants from cold temperatures, frost and icy winds? Are you looking for an easy-to-use protection, sold by the metre? The Aquagart coconut mat is versatile and the perfect winter and frost protection.

The coconut fibre mat protects the roots in the planter from wind, weather and temperature. This way your plant will survive the winter without any problems and the plants can blossom again in spring. Furthermore, the coconut mat plant protection is made of natural fibres, and thus 100% biodegradable, without chemical additives. This makes it not only very sustainable, but also environmentally and plant friendly, as they do not come into contact with toxins. The coating that holds the fibres together is made of sprayed natural latex.

The flower pot winter protection is very versatile. This is shown by the fact that it both improves the conditions of young plant growth and can protect crops from drowning and pests. It also functions as an excellent heat accumulator and regulator for the plants.

The areas of application are just as variable. The coconut mat can be used to insulate plant pots, cover flower beds, insulate small animal enclosures, provide protection against wildlife, wind and privacy along fencing or simply as decoration for plant pots. Thanks to the tear-resistant structure and thickness of 0.8 cm, it can also be used as erosion protection, slope reinforcement or pond edge reinforcement.

When laying and attaching the winter protection, you can easily trim the mat with the help of sturdy scissors or a carpet knife. When you have reached your desired length, all you have to do is wrap the mat around the plant pots to be protected. You can choose between 0.5 m and 1 m in width.

The 800 g/m² coconut mat is very durable and can be used for several years.
