Die Ufermatte bietet Pflanzen den nötigen Halt an Stellen im Teich, an denen sich kein Substrat hält, und schützt die Teichfolie vor Sonneneinstrahlung. Unschöne, kahle Folienränder gehören damit der Vergangenheit an. Zusätzlich schützt die Ufermatte im Winter die Teichfolie, die durch scharfkantiges Eis beim Gefrieren des Teiches beschädigt werden kann. Um Ihren Teich bis zum Rand bepflanzen zu können, benötigen Sie ein Material, auf dem die Wurzeln der Teichpflanzen optimal Halt finden. Die Matte kann auch mit Samen besät werden und lässt sich für besseren Halt mit der Teichfolie verkleben.
