General Description

The shower threshold water barrier is designed for use in various locations such as shower floors, shower trays, kitchen sinks, under bathroom doors, bathtub edges, and around washing machines and toilets. It forms an effective barrier against water, helping to keep your home dry.

Compatibility and Accessories

The water barrier is compatible with all smooth surfaces. Additional adhesive, such as silicone sealant, may be required for optimal sealing (not included).

Installation

To install the barrier, follow these steps:

• Clean and dry the surface where you wish to apply it.

• Cut the barrier strip to the desired length.

• Remove the pre-adhesive backing and stick it to the smooth surface.

• For corners, it is advisable to cut at a 45-degree angle for a better connection. The water barrier is easy to clean. Simply use a damp cloth to wipe it. To ensure good adhesion, in winter you can use a hairdryer to heat the surface before application.

Other information:

Please note that the barrier is only 12 mm high and may not be suitable for showers without barriers or large areas where water tends to collect. It is recommended to allow the extra adhesive to dry for 24 hours after installation.
