Instant alert: When the carbon monoxide detector reaches alarm levels, the CO sensor detects CO, the red LED flashes, the blue LCD backlight illuminates, and an early warning is emitted with a loud 85-decibel beep. Self-test function and informative LCD screen: The device will beep and the red LED will flash once when powered on. "888" will appear on the LCD screen. Then, when you press the test button, the device will beep and the red LED will flash. It displays real-time CO levels and memorizes dangerous CO levels since the last default setting. "Err" will appear on the LCD screen to indicate that the device is not functioning correctly. "Lb" will appear on the LCD screen to indicate that the battery is low and needs to be replaced. "000" will appear on the LCD screen for 3 seconds, then the device will enter normal operating mode.
