iRobot double walls Virtual walls allow you to easily limit the area to be cleaned. With iRobot's new dual Virtual Walls, you can easily restrict the movement of your Roomba or Scooba so it can't access areas you don't need it to. The dual-function Virtual Wall system gives you more control over where the robot cleans. With Virtual Wall mode, you can decide which rooms the robot should and shouldn't enter, and Halo mode creates a protected zone around objects you want to safeguard. These virtual walls are so small they're almost imperceptible, and they run on two AA batteries per unit (batteries not included with this product). There are two modes in which you can determine the robot's position. An automatic Virtual Wall ensures your robot only cleans the rooms you want it to. And Halo mode won't let your robot approach the object you want to protect.
Virtual Wall Mode: greater range to block openings up to 3m
The setting projects a 3-meter infrared beam of light in a straight line. This is good for doorways.
Halo Mode : shape a circular barrier with a diameter of 1.2 m.
The configuration produces a circular infrared beam 1.2 meters around the device. Halo mode creates a circle around the cell that robots will not enter. This can be useful if you have pets.
Compatible with Roomba 500, 600, 700 series robots, 800 and 900
The dual-function virtual wall barrier is compatible with ROOMBA 500, 600, 700, 800, and 900 series robots.
