Description
The LiFePo4 BMS 4S 30A 12.8V protection board is applicable to electric bicycles, electric motorcycles, energy storage devices, jump starters, and various electronic devices that use LiFePo4 batteries, such as mobile power supplies and some 3C products.
The main function of this protection board is to protect and manage the battery.
It has a balancing function and can prevent overcharging, over-discharging, overcurrent, and short circuits, thus extending battery life and ensuring safe operation. The initial charging voltage should not exceed 12.8 V. Once proper battery operation is confirmed, the charging voltage can be slightly increased, while monitoring battery performance, up to a maximum of 14.8 V. If the battery voltage exceeds 3.8 V during charging, the battery is likely defective and should be replaced (i.e., the battery capacity and internal resistance are significant). Before connecting the batteries to the BMS, ensure that the voltage of each battery is identical. If not, charge each battery separately.Features
