Description
TREND two-flute straight cutter in high-speed steel (HSS) delivers clean, accurate grooves and shallow routing cuts. Designed for grooving, rebating, morticing, drilling and hinge recessing, it has a 6.3 mm cutting diameter, 28 mm blade length and 59 mm overall length. The 1/4in (6.35 mm) shank fits standard routers and trim tools, and the cutter offers a maximum cutting depth of 12.7 mm. Use HSS tooling for softwoods; for abrasive materials such as chipboard, MDF, plywood and certain hardwoods, consider tungsten carbide tooling for longer life.
Two-flute geometry gives a cleaner finish than single-flute cutters for edge-sensitive work.
