Procedure: 1. Open the lid and gently insert a soft cloth into the prism. 2. Place a few drops of the solution to be tested onto the prism. Carefully close the lid, avoiding air bubbles and ensuring the solution covers the entire surface of the prism. 3. Point the instrument's light-input lens toward the bright spot of the source. Observe the scene through the eyepiece and adjust the focus using the focusing knob. 4. Ensure the blue-to-white line is clearly visible in the field of view and that its value corresponds to the concentration of the solution. Calibration: Place a few drops of distilled water onto the detection prism. Adjust the position of the 0% mark on the scale using the zero adjustment screw, then wipe the prism clean. Notes: 1. When using, exercise extreme caution and follow the instructions carefully. Do not loosen any part of the instrument, and avoid shocks and vibrations. 2. After use, do not wash directly with water.
