Dehorning steps:

1. Stabilize the cow, especially the head.

2. Use a wire saw to cut the corner ring 3-5cm from the bottom of the corner. Speed is necessary, the technique is stable and it is effective.

3.Capillaries showing hemorrhage after diagonal cutting of the base are pressed with potassium permanganate or ironed with iron.

4.The base angle is covered with 7% iodine, disinfected the wound, bandaged with a bandage (preferably with the same bandage on both corners, easy to wrap, not falling off), then applied turpentine or fish fat entirely on the strap to avoid infection.

5.After dehorning, the base angle is greater. In order to prevent infection, anti-infection drugs can be sprinkled into the cavity, then the cavity is filled with iodized cotton balls (not tightly), and finally the outer layer waterproof pine oil or fish fat is filled. The method of dressing with cotton is the same as above.
