Description
QUALITY: Our brass solenoid valves are suitable for a wide range of applications, including conventional irrigation, pesticide spraying in agriculture, and data center cooling.
CONNECTION: The pins on the left and right are marked L (+) and N (-). The markings are variable, as the magnetic field is independent of polarity. Ground is connected to the 3rd pin (center pin). The solenoid valve should not be used on a cable reel, as this can cause resonance oscillations, resulting in a hum or failure to switch. Some switching clocks are affected by the magnetic head.
OPERATION: An electromagnetic field is generated by the current in the magnetic head. This allows the lifting armature in the valve to move up or down. This varies depending on how the magnetic head is wound. Generally, a small spring and the valve's inlet pressure oppose this movement.
ADVANTAGES: Frequent switching cycles - up to 500,000 / Fast switching - 10 milliseconds / Requires minimal space.
PLEASE NOTE: As the magnetic coil requires very little energy after opening/closing, the remaining energy is released as heat. Consequently, the solenoid valves become very hot (up to approximately 80°C) during prolonged operation. With our solenoid valves, 100% duty cycle is possible.
