36FT 4-Wire Trailer Wiring Extension Kit with Male and Female 4-Pin Flat Connectors

Discover our dedicated wiring harness for 36-foot (approximately 11-meter) marine trailers, designed for a reliable and durable connection. This complete kit includes two harnesses: a main 8.5-meter harness and a secondary 2.4-meter harness, offering great installation flexibility for longer trailers. This 4-pin (male and female) harness features 4 conductors and a white ground wire. Made from 18-gauge PVC-sheathed wire, it is designed to split at the trailer drawbar and run down each side. The entire assembly is fully sealed for a corrosion-resistant installation. Compliant with SAE J1128 specifications, this 36-foot wiring extension protects the towing vehicle's electronics from short circuits. It comes complete with a 4-foot trunk connector, splices, and fasteners. Thanks to its dedicated ground wire, it is also compatible with aluminum trailers. The 4-pin flat connector allows for easy powering of the position, turn signal, and brake lights, as well as establishing the ground connection. The white ground wire is long enough for easy wiring (approximately 60 cm on the trailer side) and terminates with a corrosion-resistant lug. Installation is quick and easy via the 4-way connectors. This type of 4-pole flat connector is standard for most lightweight trailers, handling the three basic lighting functions plus ground. Note that it is not compatible with motorcycle trailer wiring. The wires are color-coded (yellow, brown, green, white) and soldered, allowing for simple integration into your trailer's electrical system without the need for complex splicing. Each color clearly corresponds to a function, ensuring a safe and straightforward installation.
