Product information
Description
- The IR remote control extension cable allows you to reduce the distance to a video source such as a Blu-ray player so that you can control it from your TV; the red LED in the IR receiver bulb indicates that the signal has been successfully transmitted.
- Home theater accessory that repeats the IR signal to a DVD player, set-top box, receiver, or any other audio/video source with an IR sensor; Place the IR remote control repeater cable out of sight for a wall-mounted TV; Install the end of the IR Transmitter in a cabinet and also place your decoder to put it out of sight and control it remotely
- EASY INSTALLATION of lightweight IR cable; Place the IR Blaster near the source sensor to repeat the signal to it; Place the IR Receiver in a convenient location, with a clear line of sight to your handheld remote; The Tx and Rx IR cables have round adhesive pads on the back for easy installation
- USB POWERED The IR extender cable has a 1.8 meter Y-cable that can accommodate a 5V USB power supply; the USB cable on the IR remote extender cable plugs into a USB power port on your TV or a USB wall charger
- UNIVERSAL COMPATABILITY of the IR extender cable with most audio/video equipment with infrared sensors (not RF); 30° reception angle to ensure signal reception from your remote control
Remote Control Solution The IR Extender Cable is the ideal solution for controlling a Blu-ray player, a DTT decoder, or any other video source connected to your TV. Use your TV remote even when a sound bar blocks access to the IR sensor. Connect the different elements of your home cinema, even those stored in a cabinet.
Important
- Test the cable before securing it with its adhesive surface
- Check that the TV's USB port delivers a USB voltage of 5 V or use a USB wall charger
- Not compatible with a decoder using radio frequency signals (RF)
- Bright daylight and fluorescent lights can cause interference
