> Wind-resistant: All BELVEO parasols have a patented wind protection system with two sets of ribs that move up and down to adapt to the wind. This system makes them resistant to all types of wind.
> Easily replaceable polyester canopy: A zip fastening system means you can easily change your canopy to make sure you've got a clean, new canopy all year round.
> Water-repellent, UPF 50+ anti-UV canopy: The canopy will protect you from the sun's UV rays.
> Vertical tilt: With a cantilever parasol, you can tilt the canopy to adjust it to the sun's position, so that you're always protected.
> 360° rotating base: The side pole enables you to adjust your parasol to the sun's position, with 360° rotation and in no time! You just need to press down on the pedal with your foot, turn the pole of your parasol to the desired position and then release the pedal! It couldn't be simpler.
The main strength of BELVEO parasols is that they are particularly good at withstanding wind. With their unique patented system, BELVEO parasols won't fly away or break in the wind. No more parasols that need to be thrown away after one season!
Thanks to its Belveo® technology, when exposed to a gust of wind, the parasol will turn upwards until the wind has died down and then return to its original position thanks to its fiberglass rib system. To get a better understanding of this, watch our video on youtube demonstrating how it works.
Our products are named after winds. In this case, the Mistral is a dry and cold wind from France, coming from the North and blowing in the Rhone valley towards the Mediterranean Sea.
The Mistral parasol has a water-resistant canopy made of polyester with a density of 210g/m² and a UPF50+ anti-UV coating, so you can spend time enjoying the outdoors while staying sheltered from the sun.
The Mistral parasol is built to last, with its mainframe made of aluminum. Please note that the ribs and the base are made of steel.
It can be adjusted very easily thanks to its 360° rotating base and its push-up system which allows you to tilt the canopy vertically to follow the sun. It is opened using a ratchet handle.
