Product Details

This 90° titanium-coated chamfering tool is suitable for chip removal and prevents metal chips from flying out and rounding off the edges.

Wide Range of Applications

Suitable for objects less than 25 mm thick, such as thin panels made of wood, PVC panels, aluminum foil, insulation boards, or thin plastic sheets, etc.

First Step: Pilot Hole

First, drill a pilot hole in the wood or plastic to locate or guide a screw and increase the size according to the tap.

Without a pilot hole, the screw may become too tight and break the material or the screw itself.

Second step: Install the chamfering tool

Install the chamfering bit on the drill press. If you need to chamfer a 16 mm hole, you can choose a 15-20 mm chamfering bit. Add water or cutting oil to cool the bit during chamfering.

Third step: Clearance hole

Finally, screw it in until it is horizontal. This bit should be used with a drill press; it is prone to wobbling and will affect the chamfering effect if you use a hand drill.
