【2-Position Function and 4-Wire Layout (General Information)】 The ignition switch has two positions with the following typical functions:

OFF Position: After removing the key, the power supply to the entire vehicle is cut off, and the steering can be locked (if this function is available).

ON Position: The vehicle's electrical system is powered, allowing the vehicle to be started and driven normally.

Headlights and other electrical components are controlled via separate switches. Common functions of the 4 wires (see wiring diagram): Red wire: Constant power supply (connect directly to the positive terminal of the battery or via a fuse). Black wire: Output to the vehicle's main electrical circuit (ignition, lights, etc.), power supplied in the ON position.
