【4-Wire Switch for Miniature Vehicles】 This 4-wire, 2-position ignition switch is specifically designed for mini bikes, small motorcycles, children's ATVs, and go-karts. The switch head is made of metal, making it sturdy and durable. It features a simple 4-wire design and provides the basic functions of on/off and circuit switching. This is the ideal solution for replacing damaged original switches and restoring vehicle starting and light control.
【2-Position Function and 4-Wire Layout (General Information)】 The ignition switch has two positions with the following typical functions:
OFF Position: After removing the key, the power supply to the entire vehicle is cut off, and the steering can be locked (if this function is available).
ON Position: The vehicle's electrical system is powered, allowing the vehicle to be started and driven normally.
Headlights and other electrical components are controlled via separate switches. Common functions of the 4 wires (see wiring diagram): Red wire: Constant power supply (connect directly to the positive terminal of the battery or via a fuse). Black wire: Output to the vehicle's main electrical circuit (ignition, lights, etc.), power supplied in the ON position. Brown/Pink wire: Output to the taillights or parking lights (always on in the ON position or separately configurable). Green/Black/White wire: Ground (or ignition cut-off wire, connected to the engine stop circuit). 【Robust Metal Lock Cylinder Design】 The lock cylinder housing is made of metal and is therefore more resistant to twisting and prying than plastic lock cylinders. It is suitable for frequent outdoor use. Includes 2 cross or slotted keys. 【Direct and Easy Replacement】 Designed for direct replacement of the original 4-wire switch with a model offering identical functions.
