Programming
Press a button on the receiver (under the motor cover or next to the motor in a separate box) and then a button on the new remote control to program it. Materials needed: the receiver!
1. Open the receiver through the garage door.
2. Press the programming button. This is usually labeled ENR, MEMO, or PROG.
3. Some receivers require the programming button to be held down.
4. The LED indicator on the receiver will signal the start of programming mode.
5. Press and hold a button on the new remote control for one second, then release it.
6. The receiver's LED indicator will light up differently or turn off to indicate successful programming. 7. Wait a few seconds to exit programming mode. Congratulations! Your new remote control is programmed!
