A good waterproofing system naturally also requires a good substrate. However, the conditions of the soil are often not sufficient.

Therefore, we recommend the use of pond liner underlay to protect the pond liner from damage from the soil, such as stony subsoil, undermining by voles and root growth by trees and shrubs.

For optimum protection of the pond liner, we also recommend the use of pond liner underlay over the pond liner to prevent damage. These can be caused by use as a swimming pond or by the high water pressure acting on sharp stones in the water.

There are different thicknesses that can be selected depending on the soil conditions and size of the pond. The protective fleece consists of PP and PES synthetic fibres and is mechanically bonded. It is rot-proof, has a high punch penetration force and is detector-tested.
