Hold the tool in the air and turn it on by pressing the power button, then select either AC mode or metal mode. 2. Press the calibration button to start calibration. The decreasing bars will disappear, and a beep will indicate the end of calibration. 3. Place the device against the wall and slowly slide it across the surface. Mark the spot where the AC reading is highest. 4. Reverse the direction and mark the point where the display bars peak from the opposite direction. The midpoint of the two marks indicates the center of the live AC wiring. 5. To refine the detection, reduce the tool's sensitivity and scan the area again. Other information
