The use of pond fleece is recommended to protect the pond liner from damage caused by the ground, such as rocky substrates, burrowing animals, and root growth from trees and shrubs. To ensure optimal protection, it is advisable to use pond fleece both beneath and above the pond liner to prevent potential damage from swimming activities or high water pressure acting on sharp stones in the water.
