Product information
Description
Integrated automotive relays in a fuse holder with a 30A blade fuse included, eliminating the need for a separate fuse holder and saving space and money. Heavy-duty 14AWG wires for the main contact.
Relay sockets come with color-coded wires for convenient wiring of loads/accessories. Black - Ground (85), Red - VDC (30), White - Trigger (86), Blue - N/O Output (87)
The unique male-female slot design on each socket edge makes it easy to connect all relays together, providing a clean and tidy installation.
12V DC (Max 14V DC) and 30A high switching capacity. Bosch-style 5-pin SPST (single-pole single-throw) relay.
The metal mounting bracket on the electrical relay makes installation easy.Wide range of use, widely used for car lights, fog lights, windshield wipers, starters, fans, speakers, traction control systems, etc.
Description
Some automotive devices like steering wheels, starters, and headlights require a lot of current to operate.
If the operating voltage is very high, it can easily cause an electric shock to the operators.
If the operating current is high, it will generate a lot of heat that can burn out the switch.
The automotive relay is an electronic control device, usually used in an automatic control circuit.
It is essentially an "automatic switch" that controls a large current through a small current.
Application:
Suitable for all automobiles and devices equipped with a power source 12-volt DC power supply.
Used in work lights, fog lights, starter, windshield wipers, fans, speakers, central locking, alarm, power windows, etc.
Relay and harness connector instructions:
-85: Connected to the chassis ground. Serves as a common ground connection to activate and magnetize the internal coil.
-86: Connected to a 12V DC positive input. This is where a switch connected to a 12V DC input will be connected to the relay.
When power is sent to the relay via pin 86, the circuit is completed by pin 85 connected to a common ground, which activates and magnetizes the internal coil.
-87: Normally open contact, also called NO. The connection between pin 87 and pin 30 is made only when the internal coil is activated or magnetized.
-30: Common contact that can be connected to a 12V DC power input or to the chassis ground, depending on the desired application.
