Product information

Description

Product Name: One-Piece Composite Tap with Hex Shank for Machine Applications
Material: Two grades of high-speed steel, 4341 and 6542. Material 4341 is suitable for wood, aluminum, iron, and other materials with low hardness. Material 6542 is high-hardness and more durable. It can be used for steel plates and even thinner stainless steel plates (304) up to approximately 2 mm thick.
Application: This product is suitable for high-speed drilling and tapping. Use with a tapping machine is recommended. When using with an electric hand drill, take care to handle it correctly. Strong vibrations and tilting movements can impair tapping and even cause the tap to break! High-speed steel, high strength, wear resistance, and hardness. Durable 1/4" (6.35 mm) quick-change hex shank. Six sizes (M3x0.5, M4x0.7, M5x0.8, M6x1, M8x1.25, M10x1.5) are suitable for various applications. The wear-resistant and sharp drill bits ensure high drilling speeds and increase work efficiency. Suitable for wood, plastic, thin copper, aluminum, and even thin stainless steel (304) sheets up to approximately 2 mm thick; not suitable for hard materials (e.g., flat steel). Cooling water must be supplied during drilling to cool the drill bit. This increases its lifespan. If the drill bit cannot be cooled during drilling, the drilling speed and the number of passes should be reduced. Specifications: M3/M4/M5/M6/M8/M10 Silver M3/M4/M5/M6/M8/M10
