The power went out and you don't know what to do? We have a wide range of ceramic or glass cartridge fuses. ManoMano offers you recognized quality with brands like LEGRAND, at the best price on the web. This way, your home can continue to shine brightly!
If you live in an old house or a rather old apartment, you probably have an electrical installation that works with old cylinder fuses, in glass or ceramic. ManoMano is committed to helping you choose the fuse that suits your needs.
First of all, you need to distinguish cylinder fuses for electrical panels from pin fuses reserved for cars. You will only find the right type of fuses on our site (namely for electrical panels).
Next, you need to look at what type of device you will connect your fuse to. If it is lighting, you can use a fuse with a tolerance of 1 to 10A without any problem. Compare if necessary with the information indicated on the product label to be connected.
For more energy-intensive applications, such as an oven or a three-phase socket, prefer fuses in the range of 16 to 32A. Again, compare with the information indicated on the product.
The material used is not a central element: it just provides a different amperage capacity for the fuse, with ceramic generating more resistance than glass, for example. The advantage of glass lies in its transparency, which allows you to easily see if the wire has burned.
And now, we hope you are more enlightened on the matter. However, if you still have questions, don't hesitate to let us know!
