The wire is made from closely spaced hot-dip galvanized steel wires.
During manufacturing, the wire is firmly welded at the contact points, resulting in a so-called "spot-welded grid".
The zinc oxidizes relatively easily, so any scratches on the surface lead to the formation of an additional zinc oxide layer, preventing moisture from reaching the steel core.
This process makes our aviary wire particularly resistant to weather influences.
