Description
General description The 6M Door Window Sealing Tape is designed to provide effective insulation and soundproofing for your doors and windows. Made from high-quality EPDM foam rubber, this sealing strip is windproof, waterproof, insect-proof, dustproof, and shockproof. It is ideal for reducing energy costs by preventing hot and cold air from passing through, thus creating a comfortable living environment. Technical specifications Material: EPDM foam rubber Product length: 6M Dimensions: 9 x 4mm Sealing gap: 2-4mm Installation Clean the surface where the tape will be applied to ensure it is smooth, flat, and dry. Measure the height of the door or window and cut the sealing strip accordingly. Remove a small part of the backing paper and position the sealing strip correctly, pressing it firmly into place. Continue to remove the backing paper while pressing the strip down along the frame. Ensure there are no gaps at the corner joints when installing horizontal strips. For best adhesion, press firmly after sticking and avoid pulling on the tape. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to set before using the door or window. Recommended application temperature: 10 °C to 35 °C. Preheat the adhesive with a hair dryer if the temperature is low. Usage This multifunctional sealing strip can be used to prevent wind, dust, sound, water, and insects from entering your home. It effectively reduces noise when opening and closing doors and windows, providing a quieter and more comfortable environment. Other information To measure the gap between doors and windows, you can use a ruler, a dollar coin (approximately 2mm thick), or folded paper to determine the size accurately.
