It will automatically enter lawn mode. 2) On the golf course: The ruler height in yards (2.6 yards) is preset. (1) Align the bottom edge of the screen with the horizontal of your lawn. (2) Press the power button to move the cursor to the flag. (3) The distance to the hole will be displayed at the top of the screen. 3) To measure the distance to a specific target, press the function button. The device will then enter normal mode and display a three-digit number after the decimal point. To measure the distance between yourself and the target: (1) Press the power button to enter normal mode. The screen will then display a three-digit number after the decimal point. (2) Press the function button to select the tens digit, and then press the setting button to enter the number (from 0 to 9). (3) Repeat these steps to set the number of digits and the decimal separator. (4) Press the function button to complete the entry. (5) Based on the entered altitude, the display shows the minimum measurable distance. (6) Align the bottom edge of the display with the bottom edge of the target. (7) Press the setting button to move the cursor over the target. (8) A number indicating the distance to the target will appear at the top of the display. Enter its altitude. 5.
