Manually adjustable height support pads for suspended paving and decking systems. Raise the slabs off the deck to improve drainage and optimise roof space. Universal pedestals have a telescopic stem which is twisted by hand to create millimetre precise changes in height. This is a suspended system, the weight of the slab or decking holds everything in place. Changes to height can be made whilst the slab or decking is in place, saving time and labour.  

Positioning lugs on the headpiece hold either the paving slab or decking joist in place without the need for fixings. Rainwater runs between and under the slabs or decking, so there is no standing water left on the surface. They create a cavity between the sub-deck and surface which helps ventilate the structure and allows services such as pipes and cables to be hidden from view.  

Universal Adjustable paving pedestals and decking supports are available in heights from 25mm up to 380mm. They are manufactured from virgin fibre polypropylene and can tolerate over 1 tonne in weight per unit. Universal Pedestals contain no fillers and will not crack in cold temperatures. They have been strength tested at - 40°C. See technical data below for details.
