How to program the garage door opener?
1. Activate programming mode – on the garage door opener.
First, you need to put the garage door opener's radio receiver into programming mode. Open the housing and press the programming button (radio button) located on the garage door opener's control unit. Depending on the model, the control unit is located either in the motor frame or in the control unit housing. In programming mode, the red LED will light up.
Select the radio channel on the garage door opener.
Repeatedly press the wireless button to select the desired radio channel on the garage door opener. If no transmission command is received within approximately 30 seconds of pressing the wireless button, the radio receiver will return to normal mode.
Radio Channel Descriptions
CH1: Pulse mode (on/off). CH2: Partial on/off or illuminated function.
CH3: Sets a CH4: Sets
3. Set the buttons on the handheld transmitter. Press the desired replicated button on the handheld transmitter until the LED of the previously selected radio channel flashes. Copying was successful. Repeat the steps above to learn other handheld transmitters on this radio receiver.
